What to Expect
Serving on the ICAN board is a meaningful commitment. Here's what it involves:
Time Commitment
Monthly board meetings (typically 1-2 hours), plus occasional committee work. Most directors spend 5-10 hours per month total.
Fiduciary Duty
Directors are responsible for financial oversight, legal compliance, and acting in ICAN's best interest. Annual conflict of interest disclosure required.
Community Impact
Help shape cannabis policy reform in Iowa. Represent ICAN in your community, build coalitions, and advocate for sensible policy at the state level.
