ICAN runs six programs aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Each one needs volunteers — no experience required, just a willingness to show up for Iowa.
Victory Garden Initiative
Help communities grow food, support local food banks, and rebuild Iowa's agricultural resilience — one garden at a time.
Communications
Write newsletters, manage social media, create educational content, and shape how Iowa hears about cannabis reform.
Membership
Help grow ICAN's membership base, onboard new volunteers, and ensure our movement reflects the diversity of Iowa.
Community Outreach
Coordinate events, build coalitions with partner organizations, and turn individual supporters into a statewide movement.
Legislative Action
Track bills, prepare policy briefs, attend committee hearings, and arm advocates with the facts they need at the Capitol.
Fundraising
Help secure the resources that make everything else possible — grant writing, donor outreach, event fundraising, and partnership development.
